Financing Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises and the Role of Private Banks: an Exploratory Study in Dhi-Qar Province

Purpose: The research aims to shed light on the financing of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) in Dhi-Qar province role private banks that. Theoretical framework: theoretical framework study focuses defining (SMEs), method which included operating loans investment loans, obstacles financing, factors success failure SMEs also framework. Design/methodology/approach: tool for practical side was a questionnaire, relied descriptive analytical approach, where questionnaire distributed (335) owners represented (Chamber Commerce, Business Federation, Chamber Industry) number questionnaires valid analysis (300) statistical program used (SPSS.v.23), Research, Practical & Social implications: Findings: reached most important conclusions, including inability provide required guarantees from banks, weak ability Submit financial statements loan is granted, amount granted by not compatible with capital operational needs (SMEs). Originality/value: Highlight necessity finding mechanism financially support urge institutions encourage them these enterprises.
